Skyrim Monli Race The Monli is a fantasy race in the Elder Scrolls series of games by Bethesda Softworks. The main classification for the Monli is "Naamah" which means "woman-first". This may be translated from Hebrew as “Mistress” or “Our Lady”. The translation from Hebrew to English was done by Dovid Katz in the series bible, but in general, there are a lot of similar terms in eastern and western religions which all translate into something like “the Mother Goddess”. The term Mother Goddess stems from China and before that, it appeared in Sumerian mythology, where she was known as Inanna. The Monli are an agender species, with no main attributes to its species. They are not to be confused with the High Elves, who are classified as "mer", meaning man or male. The Monli are also not to be confused with the Khajiit, who are classified as "jarr" which means cat-man. The Monli have no gender identity because they do not naturally reproduce naturally. The Monli reproduce through magical means that creates an embryo that will eventually grow into a full adult. The embryo is then placed inside another being of any kind so that it may grow and develop into a fetus, which is very similar to Alien’s method of reproduction. The fetus will incubate inside the host until it is ready to be born. The host will then go into labor and give birth to the Monli, which is classified as a “child” although it does not have distinct gender or age. The Monli are born in the same way that humans are, through natural reproduction. After birth, the child Monli will grow very quickly, at a rate of about 1 foot per day for the first year of its life. After one year, they will not grow any larger than an average human child aged 6-10 years old. They will develop their mental acuity right after birth, which makes them able to speak within their first week of life. Within the first year of it’s life, they will develop their cast system. After they receive their cast system, they will be stuck at the cast system until they are able to reach the upper echelon of that cast system. They are able to breed at any time once they reach adulthood. Before that, there is no biological reason for them to breed; however, if the Monli wants to breed with another Monli, it is entered into a breeding contract. The breeding contract is entered between two individuals with mutual consent and one of which must be under the age of 30 years old. The contract lasts for one year at the end of which the offspring is born. The anticipated length of pregnancy is about 4-5 months. The purpose of this breeding contract is to help the Monli regulate the population in their own way, since they are not able to have babies naturally. If both parties in the contract are male, then they are able to procreate with each other until one or both parties decide to submit a petition for dissolution. If both parties in the contract are female, then they are able to procreate with each other until one or both parties decides to submit a petition for dissolution again.
